The Pod Squad
There are 26 downtown street corner pods that are maintained by volunteers called The Pod Squad. These volunteers weed, water, plant and trim the pods so that the plantings remain beautiful for the townspeople and tourists during the spring, summer and fall. Each year people are given the chance to vote for their favorite pod and the pod that collects the most votes receives The People's Choice Award.
